Energetic, innovative, intimate, sweet, exciting, funny. The list that describes the beautiful interpretations of Jack Savoretti’s song in the form of photos and videos could be really long.We are talking about the Contest Written In Scars, a small competition organized by Luna in collaboration with Concerto Srl which is now coming to an end.
The contest, which we had mentioned here, was open April 4th to May 1st, and Jack Savoretti had asked all his fans to send photos and videos with their own version of the song “Written In Scars”. It was an opportunity to promote his Italian Summer Tour 2016.
“Written In Scars” is a song that tells a bit of the story of each of us, our personal battles, and the scars we carry. The three best photos and three best videos were supposed to be published and voted on, but there was a twist. The artist received so many videos that he struggled to select just six that impressed him the most. So, he announced a new development on his Facebook page, asking for a little help in deciding:

From May 10th, you can vote for them directly until the final on the 16th.

This is a video challenge that Jack launched due to his indecision but also to engage and make his fans feel important once again. His request was met with surprise by those who follow his page, as seen by the numerous likes on the various videos.
From May 10th, we had the chance to see Elena Marzari’s R&B version, the intimate duet between Camilla Fascina and Jake Hehir, the funny version by Famiglia Barbolini, and the innovative LIS video clip by Erika Persico and Valentina Sidoni. Finally, in the last two days, the challenge was between Peligro’s Italian rap version and the cover by the pop band Metrò. Now we understand Jack Savoretti’s decision: the videos are really well-made and what voices! Here are the names of the three finalists:

– Erika Persico, with Valentina Sidoni,
– Metrò.
Stay updated on Jack Savoretti’s official Facebook page: from today, May 16th, you can vote for the final winner of the video challenge until 10:00 AM on May 19th! The winner will be announced on May 20th, and you will also discover the three finalist photos.
The most voted photo will win a backstage pass, while the most voted video will be invited to one of Jack’s concerts.
