Today, there’s the McDonald’s Advent calendar, available on the Apple Store and Play Store. How does it work?

Until Christmas, the giant has promoted an initiative that allows you to open the gift hidden behind each corresponding box daily. The prizes are all different and range from hamburgers to the chance to enter contests with other prizes at stake.

The promotion is valid until December 25th; what changes from the classic and traditional Advent calendar? Simple, if you forget to open your box one day, you won’t be able to eat two chocolates together; the offers are valid and “redeemable” only on the day they are given. It will also not be possible to open the boxes of the following days.
